Who am I?

I go by Kanthos online, but my real name is Mike Chase. I live outside Toronto and work in Richmond Hill as a software developer. I’ve been married to Jen since August 28, 2004. My main hobby is music: I’m a keyboard player. I also enjoy video games and swimming. I’m a Christian who accepts things by faith but recognizes that you can’t live in today’s world without rational thinking and consideration for the different beliefs of others; I won’t compromise my beliefs, but I also won’t force them onto others who believe different things. I have a BMath and MMath specializing in Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Waterloo.

Why Kanthos?

The name Kanthos comes from the character generator from Neverwinter Nights. I liked the name and have used it in a number of games since, and will use it when playing online using my DS, PSP, or Wii, as well as using it as my profile names on a few online sites including OverClocked Remix.
