Posted by Mike on March 19, 2009

Thanks to slashdot, I came across this article on making intentional mistakes to make gaming more fun. Just another reminder for me of why AI is such a fascinating field. The article is also really friendly to non-programmers too.

Immersive Games

Posted by Mike on September 16, 2008

It’s been a while since I last posted. In the last three weeks, I’ve started with my new company and increased the amount of time I spend practicing keyboards. I found an interesting article about immsersive games. I’m no Nine Inch Nails fan, but I really like the concept, as nerdy as it is.

Of course, many people like Vista too, but because of changes in so many key areas that a lot of potential knowledgeable users viewed as negative, there’s no denying that Vista has a bad reputation.

Enter the Mojave Experiment.

Posted by Mike on July 18, 2008

I found an interesting article today via Slashdot on what it would take for a normal person to become Batman. Looks like I won’t be fighting crime anytime soon.
